For one week a year, children come to camp without the fear of rejection regardless of their physical features or limitations. Activities include swimming, crafts, boating, skits, horseback riding and other summer camp type fun!

Our camper counselor ratio is one to one.  Counselors go through an application process, interview and extensive back-ground checks. In addition they also attend a mandatory training session prior to camp.

Accommodations include airconditioned cabins with twin bunk beds, showers and rest room facilities. The boys and girls are lodged on opposite ends of the property. Delicious hot meals are prepared on-site by the camp kitchen staff in a large dining hall overlooking
the lake.

During camp there is a nurse on staff as well as a 24-hour on-site Paramedic/EMT who oversees all the medication distribution as well as any medical emergencies that may occur.

The entire Board of Directors as well as many of our camp staff and counselors have had years of experience in operating a burn camp for children. We feel that this is a true asset to the mission of the foundation.
